Fraser Tech Hockey Club

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder or five ...

Muster & Trials

The second Muster is on Sunday at 10am, come rain hail or shine. I'm almost hoping for the former after the scorcher last Saturday.

The muster is open to everyone, even our new 6-a-side players. So we'll see you there.

AGM

The muster will be followed by the AGM at 12:15 sharp. Legend has it, that AGMs are uninteresting, even boring - but have you ever been to one? We intend for it to be to the point, interesting, informative and give you an insight into the work that goes into entering your team every season. We implore you to stick around for that extra half hour as we have an important governance issue (incorporation) that needs the members to vote it through. If you honestly can't make it, then it is good form to send your apologies to the secretary.

BBQ

The Prem Men are organising a BBQ for after the AGM. Yes - we admit this is a bribe for you to come to the AGM, but also a good way for you to kick off your St Paddy day celebrations.

6-a-side League

WHA are starting a new 6-a-side league for NEW and returning adults. If you know anyone who might be interested then encourage them to visit the website http://frasertechhockey.org.nz/tag/6-a-side.

There is a 'Have a Go' evening on the 4th of April at 6pm, for those who want to try before they buy.

Sorry no school students, but Tech does run a champion secondary school team for students who can't play for their school.

Fundraiser

Wine orders must be in by Sunday! Make your order on the website.

The Waikato Hockey Association is starting a new competition in 2013, A senior 6-a-side competition played on half a turf.

Waikato Senior Hockey Season Draw Plan

Here is the season draw plan released by the WHA for the senior divisions. It covers the whole season, including no play weekends where the turf will be in use for tournaments. Note this is subject to change.

This is the best advance notice we've received from WHA. Now you can plan that ski trip and not miss a game.
