Fraser Tech Hockey Club

Hi everyone,

Here's the latest from the Fraser Tech Hockey Club.

Subscriptions for 2013

Budgets have been made and the subs have been set. To find out what yours is likely to be visit the members page on the website. We run the books pretty tight so need everyone to pay - promptly.

Too Much?

Help us to help you. We need to provide one umpire per team. If you take up the job we'll slash up to $330 off your subs, just like that.

We'll also be setting up some fundraisers that will reward those that participate by off-setting their subs. The first opportunity is selling  Entertainment Books. They're awesome and pretty much sell themselves. This fundraiser will be running all year, but easier to get started now.

Training

It's under way - lets get into it and hit the start of the season with a bang instead of a whimper.

Registrations

The database is still a little light on names. Thanks to everyone who has registered already. If you've not registered on the website this year then please do so NOW. Thanks in advance.

Sponsorship

The committee is looking to raise some revenue through sponsorship. Do you know anyone who owns a business and would like to sponsor a team, or the club? The terms can be very flexible and include team naming rights, links from the website and shout outs at events. If you do, then drop our president Craig Armstrong an email at president@frasertechhockey.org.nz.

Be an Umpire and get $300 off your subs!

The club needs to provide an umpire for every team entered in the senior grades. We need some volunteers.
You will be rewarded for your efforts with $300 off your subs! If you are a non-player then you will renumerated with petrol vouchers.

If you can help out - then please contact the club secretary - Will Kamp - secretary@frasertechhockey.org.nz. First three names will get $330 off.

Entertainment Book Fundraiser for 2013

The Entertainment Book Fundraiser is back for 2013 - this time with online ordering and payment.

See what its all about on the Entertainment Book Page.

We’ll be running the same deal as last year. The profit from the first book you sell will go to the club, after that the profit from every subsequent book you sell can be credited towards your subs. So if you put the effort in – you get the reward! Not too much effort required – the books practically sell themselves.
