The 2015 season will be starting and finishing earlier than the last couple of years. The dates have been designed by the Senior Division committee to minimise conflict between our local competition and the commitments of representative players and school tournaments.
At the latest WHA Senior Division Committee meeting, the dates for the 2015 season were decided.
- All senior club games will begin the weekend of the 14/15 March.
- Finals weekend will be the 22/23 August.
- Games WILL be played on ANZAC weekend (25/26 April), and Queens Birthday weekend (30/31 May).
- Games WILL NOT be played 4/5 April (Easter), 2/3 May, or the 4/5 July – these are the first weekends of the National U21 and U18 tournaments. This will mean less disruption to teams (players will only miss one weekend instead of two).
If WHA does not play in the 2015 Midlands Intercity competition (yet to be decided), it is possible that we will start the Premier season with a 9-aside competition.
